The short version

BrowserAmp Video is designed to process and store recordings locally on your device. BrowserAmp does not receive or store the video you record.

Local recording data

Temporary recording chunks, completed recordings, thumbnails, enabled-site preferences, and extension settings are stored by your browser on your device. Temporary recordings may be removed automatically according to the retention period shown in the extension.

Website access

BrowserAmp Video asks for access only to websites you choose to enable. That access allows the extension to detect supported video players, display recording controls, and provide snapshot features on those sites.

Payments and support

If you purchase BrowserAmp Video Pro, the payment provider may collect the billing information needed to complete the purchase under its own privacy policy. If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to include in your message.
